Welcome to our Summer Season Eating week! I’m so excited to talk about the benefits of all the yummy produce available to us for the next several months! 🤤
But maybe you're wondering, “what’s the big deal about eating seasonally anyway?” and I am so happy to answer that question! 🙋♀️ There are two big reasons to eat seasonally:
One, the produce is at its peak! It’s the ripest, juiciest, tastiest it’ll be all year long! Sure, you could buy cantaloupe in December at your local grocery store, but it won’t taste nearly as good as it will in the summertime!
And, two, since it’s in season and so plentiful, it’s also way less expensive than any other time of the year! That means more berries for your buck! 😂
