Moving into Mondays: Prepare Your Mornings the Night Before

Today is the day we start thinking about Moving Into Monday!


How was this week for you? Do you feel like you crushed it? Or do you feel like it crushed you?


It’s safe to admit that this wasn’t your best week and you don’t have to make up any reasons or excuses for why the week went the way it did. You don’t owe anyone an explanation.


Tomorrow begins a new week, a new chapter, and it’s safe for you to leave behind the past week. Whether it was good or bad, something new and better is starting tomorrow so spend some time today setting your intentions for the following week.


How do you want to feel? What can you do differently? What can you take off your plate to make your life easier? Decide what you want the next 7 days to look like and think about how to make that happen.


And, like every Sunday, here’s today’s tip for setting yourself up for a successful week: Prepare for your mornings the night before.


We’ll go deeper into this as we start talking about evening routines, but for now here’s what I mean. If part of your morning includes working out, set out your workout clothes the night before. If part of your morning includes drinking a smoothie instead of coffee, prepare everything so in the morning you can just blend. Put your keys and wallet in a place where you’ll find them easily. Do whatever you can to make your morning run smoother before it starts!
