Create a Morning Routine for Your WHOLE Self

Today’s the day where we really dive into creating the morning routine that is going to improve our life and make it so much better! Who's ready??

When creating a morning routine, I think about adding one or two things from a couple of categories to make sure I’m taking care of my WHOLE self. For example, I don’t want my morning routine to just consist of working out and taking a shower because that’s only taking care of me physically. I want something to support me emotionally and mentally as well.

Here’s some ideas to help you start mixing and matching and creating your own morning routine!

Include something physical: Stretch before you get out of bed / Go for a walk / Do a workout at home or go to the gym / Play with your dog

Include something mental: Journal about your dreams, the day, what you’re looking forward to, what you’re grateful for / Do some meditating or just some deep breathing to connect to your heart / Mentally plan out your day so you know what to expect

Include something simple that will help you feel accomplished: Do the dishes / Make your bed / Fluff up your couch cushions

I invite you to use these suggestions as a guideline to help you create a morning that leaves you feeling good, feeling like you’re going to thrive every day. Use what feels good and leave the rest, but make sure it’s something you can truly commit to doing every day!
