“Your diet is a bank account. Good choices are good investments.” - Bethenny Frankel
As we wrap up our Food Matters for Movement week let’s bust another M word: Myths!
🚫 It’s a total myth that eating fat makes you gain fat. While it does have more calories than protein or carbs, it’s necessary for helping you stay full, reducing cravings, and supporting your metabolism.
🚫 It’s a total myth that the longer your workouts, the better. As long as your time working out is focused and with good form, even just a 20-minute workout can lead to great results!
🚫 The idea of “no pain, no gain” is also a total myth! Pushing yourself until you’re in pain can lead to major injury! As long as you’re challenging yourself, you don’t need to be in agony by the end of your workout to see results!
