It’s day four of Best Practices Before Bed and we’re going over things NOT to do during your evening routine!
You probably know most of these aren’t good things to do before bed, but are you still doing them? Change is hard but you are totally capable of making big changes to your life! You’re here in this group and reading this post which means you want to make positive change in your life so believe you can do it!
Are you ready for the challenge?
Here’s some things to avoid doing before bed!
* Stop looking at screens an hour or two before bed. The blue light they emit messes with our body’s natural rhythm which makes it harder to fall asleep.
* Drinking caffeine. Coffee, soda, or caffeinated tea are a no-no starting a few hours before bed. Try not to have any caffeine after lunch time so it's out of your system by the time evening rolls around.
Remember that social media and coffee will be there when you wake up in the morning but when it’s time for bed, it’s a good time to set those things aside, activate your body's natural rhythm, and get some good sleep!
